Places to Check for Free Magazines Online

ValueMags

There are tons of free magazines to read, but how can you find the best ones that are related to your interests? One of the best options that I’ve used is ValueMags which gives me instant access to a wide range of titles.

The best free magazines are related to your interests

If you love free stuff, you’ll enjoy this platform. It’s free to create your ValueMags account, and you don’t need to input any credit card or bank details. However, you will need to provide an email address, and from time to time, you can expect some promotional marketing emails from the company.

To get access to your free magazines without credit cards, simply click the “Free Magazines” tab on the ValueMags homepage. Then you can browse through the magazines, and there are usually several to choose from. When you’ve made your choice click on it, choose a password, enter your name, add an email address and you’ve created your account.

At this time, there is no limit to the number of free digital magazine subscriptions that you can sign up for, and the latest issue is available to you instantly.

Check your email inbox, and you should see a link to click, and your selection is saved in your online library to read any time you like. One of the best things about ValueMags is that there are always new titles and issues to read. So, it makes good sense to check the site regularly to see if any titles are of interest to you. All ValueMags titles are only available digitally, and there is no way to get a physical copy delivered to your home.

RewardSurvey

If you’re looking for more traditional free magazine subscriptions, I’ve found RewardSurvey to be a great source of magazines. This platform works in a similar way to other reward sites, and you earn points when you take surveys. But, many people don’t know that you get $30 of credit towards a free magazine subscription when you sign up.

When I signed up with RewardSurvey, I completed a survey of 18 questions to get those initial points. Some of the questions were general demographic information, including:

  • Age,
  • Income,
  • Marital status
  • Level of education.

But, there were other questions related to products and services, and these do vary over time.

After the survey, I had to create a profile; the process took around 10 minutes, and then I got access to the $30 reward points for free magazines. Some of the popular magazine titles on offer include O Magazine, Men’s Health, Better Homes & Gardens, and more. Some subscriptions were free, and they started to arrive at my home within that first month, and even a year later, I still get Oprah Magazine and Marie Clare.

I found that it’s a good idea to select from the list of free magazine subscriptions that only require reward points. It’s important to understand that a price on the magazine plus the rewards balance will be shown at the checkout.

If you don’t see this information, enter your shipping details, click submit, and your chosen magazines will be sent to your mailbox. You can earn extra points by taking RewardSurvey surveys and then redeem them for additional free magazines that interest you. Or you can redeem your earned points to renew the free magazine subscriptions that you have.

Mercury Magazines

This is a collection of well known magazines, including:

  • Marie Claire,
  • Good Housekeeping,
  • Woman’s Day,
  • Town and Country,
  • Outdoor Photography
  • And many more.

Signing up with Mercury Magazines is easy; you provide some basic information to match your interests to a magazine, and you have three choices. I signed up with all three, and for each magazine, I needed to complete a short survey.

The surveys must be complete before you can verify your delivery address and other personal information. Mercury Magazines are offering free trial magazine subscriptions, and when they expire, you will need to pay to keep the magazines arriving in the mail.

Freebizmag

Finding free magazines online is easy when you sign up for FreeBizMag. This company gives away a free subscription when you qualify and complete a survey. All surveys are sponsored, your answers are shared with the sponsoring company or organization, and they pay for your magazine subscription.

The free magazine subscriptions that are offered to you will depend on the type of work that you do. This is similar to the Mercury Magazines model, and you don’t qualify for a magazine offer, you will get an email when an appropriate subscription is available.

This may seem like a restrictive policy, but I found that FreeBizMage has a wide range of niche magazines that cover many different sectors. Some of the more interesting choices on offer includes:

  • Human Resource Executive,
  • Global Finance,
  • Aerospace Electronics,
  • Logistics Management
  • And many more.

Once you qualify for a free magazine, your first copy will arrive in the mail in 6-8 weeks. You will need to set up a separate email account for FreeBizMag because you will receive other offers. The company sells on your contact details, and you will get promotional materials from third party companies too.

RewardsGold

If you’ve ever asked yourself “Where can I find free magazines?” you may enjoy RewardsGold. This site allows you to earn points when you take part in activities, including:

  • Engaging with promotions,
  • Shopping with partner retailers,
  • Taking surveys
  • And more.

You can join RewardsGold for free, and when you sign up, you get $10 worth of points. As a RewardsGold member, you can enter sweepstakes and you can refer others to the site for extra rewards.

Some of the well known companies partnered with RewardsGold, include Footlocker, CVS, AT&T, Amazon, and many more. The cashout threshold may be a little higher than other survey taking sites such as Recyclebank, but you do earn more points for each completed task. Each survey you complete is worth around 250 points, and you get a similar number for each friend referral.

At the moment, there is a sign-up bonus for a free subscription to one of nine magazines, including Golfweek, Cigar Aficionado, Sports Illustrated, Spanish Language People, Wine Spectator, and more. If the offer expires some typical point values for a one year magazine subscription are 1,000 points for Essence and 1,400 points for Sports Illustrated.

To get your free magazine subscriptions, you need to sign up for a RewardsGold account, complete a survey, add a product review, refer a friend and get them to do the same. If you are an existing RewardsGold member, you can still participate in this offer with a new referral to the platform.

Rewards Country

If you’re looking for a free fashion magazine by mail, you should check out Rewards Country. This is a loyalty program that gives you “Rewards Bucks” when you’re:

  • Shopping online,
  • Completing product reviews
  • Taking part in surveys relevant to your demographic profile.

These tasks are necessary for affiliates to the platform, and it’s free to sign up for your account. But, it can take around two weeks for a membership confirmation, and you will be notified via email if accepted.

If you’re active on the Rewards Bucks platform, you will notice that the points add up quickly. In fact, you get $5 worth of points when you sign up, and the surveys tend to take around 15 minutes to complete.

If you make an online purchase with a Rewards Bucks affiliate company of $15 or more, you get $5 in points. If you refer a friend or register with an affiliated company, you will earn $2.50 in points and get a sweepstake entry. When I reached the $15 reward level, I got a free one year magazine subscription, and it was easy to reach that amount on this platform.

What You Need to Know About Free Magazines

While there are plenty of sites offering freebies, you do need to take care. Every free magazine subscription mentioned above is legitimately free with no hidden strings attached. You won’t get a bill for these magazines, and they don’t renew automatically. But, when you sign up for a free magazine, you’re going to have to do a little work first. After all, the companies that supply these free magazines need to get paid, and they rely on you to sign up for offers you’re exposed to during the process and later.

However, you don’t need to sign up for any offers to get your free magazines, and if you click the “No,” “Skip,” or “No Thanks” options when you see a prompt, you will be fine. The offers are typically in a small box at the bottom of the page that you’re on, and you need to keep an eye out for the opt out option.

Although it takes a couple of minutes to reject the offers, you can evade them with persistence to get your free magazine subscription confirmation. It’s important to avoid supplying your credit card details to get any free offer because you can guarantee that it will not be free in the medium to long term.

If you want access to free cooking magazines by mail or any digital publication, I hope I’ve shown that it is possible. But, the choices can be limited in many ways, and if you’re interested in a niche that isn’t available, you’re out of luck.

However, you can get any magazine you want if you earn some extra cash at home taking surveys online. There are many platforms that offer surveys that match your demographic profile and they only take a few minutes to complete.

It’s possible to earn $1 or more for each completed survey, but longer and more complex surveys can pay $5 or even more. To work with a survey platform, you need to complete a comprehensive profile, and it’s important to be honest with your information.

The algorithm on these sites can detect errors or misinformation when you take a survey, and you risk a cancellation. The demographic information you supply will match you with surveys that are appropriate for you and there may be extra tasks available to further boost your income.
