How Does Lemoney Work?

Lemoney is a social rewards company launched in 2015 in Miami, Florida. Through its cashback website, users can shop and earn cashback from their purchases. As of writing, the company offers rewards and online cashback deals from over 1,700 stores.

Lemoney works like other rebate sites out there. You can start by going to its website and signing up. Once you have an account, you can start browsing featured cashback offers.

If you’re looking for a specific store, you can also use the search bar at the top of its home page. After selecting a cashback offer, the website directs you to the online store’s page. You’ll need to complete your purchase there to get the cashback.

Turbo Cash Back

However, it’s pretty unique compared to other online rebate sites because of its Turbo Cash Back feature. This feature allows users to get the highest cashback rate in their selected store. To use this feature, you’ll need Turbo Credits.

Users can earn Turbo Credits by completing tasks, such as inviting friends to use the app or downloading the Lemoney extension. There are also shops that reward Turbo credits on top of the cashback.

Your cashback goes to your Lemoney account and once you reach the $25 threshold, you can withdraw those. PayPal is the only option to cash out your earnings.

How Much Cashback You Can Get With Lemoney?

While Lemoney offers cashback deals of up to 80%, cashbacks at Lemoney depend on the stores you select and your purchases. It also depends on whether you use Turbo credits and how many credits you’re using.

According to its website, you can get up to 80% cashback by using Turbo credits.

Specifically, you can only use up to five credits and that automatically applies the highest possible cash back for your purchase.

You can still redeem cashback offers without Turbo credits. However, the percentage is significantly lower. For example, a store offers 80% cashback for five Turbo credits. Fewer credits may reward you a lower cashback percentage.

Here’s the credit to cashback percentage ratio:

  • 0 credit = 9%
  • 1 credit = 20%
  • 2 credits = 38%
  • 3 credits = 54%
  • 4 credits = 68%
  • 5 credits = 80%

After completing your purchase, most retailers pay cashback within four months. If you applied for cashback from a rental or travel website, cashback rewards usually go within six months.

Lemoney Reviews: Is Lemoney Legit?

Looking over its website and how it works, Lemoney seems pretty legit and safe to use. It also helps to know that other users rated it an average of 3.6 on Trustpilot

To note some of their positive comments, some liked the timely payouts and its cashback rates. Others were impressed with the Turbo Cashback feature, as it helps them save significant amounts from their purchases.

Meanwhile, some users left 1-star ratings on the review website due to payout issues they encountered. Specifically, users expressed frustration over not getting their cashback for months.

Also, one user noted having only PayPal as a payment method. Noticeably, the Lemoney Team replied to these complaints and encouraged users to contact them through email.
