How Does HONK Work?

The HONK app helps customers connect to roadside assistance service providers near them. They only need to download and install the app to their mobile device. If you’re looking to work with Honk, the app works differently for you.

Detailed Walkthrough to Working with HONK

Once a customer requests service through the app, HONK will send a notification to all nearby service providers. After you receive the notification, you’ll need to confirm your ETA to get to the customer’s site.

Your ETA can be as soon as 15 minutes or up to more than an hour, depending on how long you can wrap up your current assignment. Once HONK receives your ETA, along with the ETAs of other service providers in the area, they will calculate the best offer.

Besides the ETA, HONK will consider the service rate and performance of the service providers.

Once you’re selected to take the service, you’ll receive further details, such as where your current customer is and their contact information.

After completing the job, HONK will collect the payment from the customer through the app. Then, it will send your payment for that job within the same day.
